Celeb Inspired : Beyonce Makeup

Hi everyone, so this is a Beyonce inspired makeup look. This look is from her video "Why Don't You Love Me". It's just the makeup from the crying scene when she's on the phone in the bathroom. When I seen the video I fell in love with the makeup...minus the mascara streaks! haha! So I decided to recreate it.

Now Beyonces makeup is just fine if you're in a music video or well if you're Beyonce fullstop...but I decided to recreate a more wearable look while still keeping the original idea of the makeup. Beyonces liner is very thick and very dramatic, so I make the liner in my version thinner and not as wide at the other part of the eye.

The Beautiful Beyonce

My version

FOTD Totally Teal

Hi lovlies! This is just a quick post today, it's just a FOTD. This is actually my new favorite look. I love the colour teal however when it comes to eyeshadow it's not really a colour that I would chose to wear, however I've been inspired lately to create more colourful looks this is what I came up with and I actually LOVE IT! :)

Product Smackdown !! Gel Eyeliners. MAC V ELF

So we all love a really good eyeliner!! In my opinion, the liner can make or break a look. So I've decided to run a "Product Smack Down" series. Which just means I will be reviewing and swatching two similar products, one which will be a high end "splurge" product and one which will be a budget "save" product. And we'll see which product comes out on top!

So firstly I am going to be reviewing gel eyeliner. First up is our "Splurge" product which is Mac Blacktrack Fluidline.
MAC BLACKTRACK FLUIDLINE

Now I'll admit...I love this product. I seriously have gone through about 5 of these little pots of love!!

FOTD using the Naked Palette

So after reviewing the Naked Palette in my last post I decided to use it today to create a very subtle neutral eye.

So here it is...

Get Naked !!

Products Used:

Urban Decay Primer Potion
The colours Virgin, Sin,Smog and Darkhorse from the Naked Palette.

I used Virgin as a tear duct and brow bone high light. Sin on the lid with Smog added to the outer "v" and across the crease and Darkhorse used in the outer "v" to darken Smog. I used the colours with a light hand as I wanted a neutral look.

I used Mac Blacktrack Fluidline as liner and Darkhorse under the lower lashes. Lashes used are from Nonpareil Boutique and are the number 16's.

On the lips I used NYX Crystal Soda Lipgloss.

Hope you enjoyed this look.

lots of love,

FOTD ~ Bombshell Look!!

So this FOTD is a dramatic night time look. I wanted to create a traditional smokey eye but with a dramatic twist. So rather than keeping to the neutral lip tradition I paired the smokey eye with hot pink Barbie-esque  lips!! Making it bombshell!

So here it is...

Be A Bombshell !!
